Fastest Compound Bow Reviews

Majority of hunters demand for a faster Compound Bow; in direct words “in the world of Archery, speed sells”! But either it is right to go for a faster compound or not! This article is written to guide you to find the fastest compound bow well in this respect.

Before diving into the future of your bow, know some facts about the speed of a compound bow. About 12 years ago, the bow speeds were measured according to a standard “Archery Manufacturing Organization (AMO)” but then shifted to “International Bow hunting Organization (IBO)” standard. Both standards require the Bow draw length to be set up as 30 inches but differ in two criteria – draw weight and speed.

AMO standard allows a bow to be set at maximum 60 pounds draw weight and shooting a 540-grain arrow (9 grains per pound) while IBO requires a compound Bow to set at maximum draw weight of 70 pounds shooting 350-grain arrow (5 grains per pound).

So, you have to make some decisions to order a new ready to shoot compound bow for you!

Some decisions such as color, accessories’ choice, peep types etc. are just a matter of your personal preferences but some decisions entirely base on your natural personality, you can’t make a choice yourself, such as such as you are a left-hander.
